  15. I just installed a Seagate 1 gig drive onto my dataflyer 500 (Amiga 500 
  16. with a Derringer 68030 and 50mhz 82 math).

  18. Some of my programs no longer load from the hard drive, even though they 
  19. load from both the floppy and if copied into ram...Sparks, Bars&PipesPro, 
  20. and I believe ALynx, for example.

  22. If run from shell, the message is "unable to load your tool <whatever>, 
  23. bad loadfile hunk."
  24.  
  25. I've tried both Quarterback Tools and Amiback Tools.  Amiback wiped out a 
  26. couple of "bad header blocks (?)" but copying the above mentioned files 
  27. back onto the drive - still can't seem to get them to run except, of 
  28. course, from the floppies or ram.
